Can you hide my Sky Q box inside a cupboard?
Yes. Modern Sky Q remotes use Bluetooth, which means they don't need "line of sight" to the box. We can hide your box in a cabinet or behind the TV, and it will still work perfectly.
Why do my Sky Mini boxes keep disconnecting?
Standard Sky Mini boxes rely on a wireless mesh that can be very weak. In larger homes or those with thick walls, this signal drops constantly. We solve this by hardwiring the boxes back to the main unit using data cables for a 100% stable connection.
Sky told me they can't install a dish on my roof. Can you?
Often, yes. Sky engineers have strict health and safety limits regarding height and roof access. As independent specialists, we are fully insured and equipped to handle "special access" installs that Sky's team won't touch.
Can I have Sky Q in a room where there is no dish cable?
Yes. We can either professionally route a new "twin" cable to that room invisibly, or we can use a Sky Q Mini box which connects to your main box via your home network (ideally hardwired) to provide all your channels without a direct dish connection.
Do I still need a Sky subscription if you do the install?
Yes. We provide the professional installation, cabling, and hardware optimisation, but you will still need an active Sky Q subscription to access their content and channels.
